KERN, Anna VanHook - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington, Ind- Mrs. Anna KERN, 90, a former resident of Covington, died Tuesday March 26, 1974 at a nursing home in Rseeda, Calif. In 1969, Mrs. Kern left Covington to reside with her sister, Mrs. Pearl Jacoutot in Reseda. Born Aug 12, 1883, in Covington, she was the daughter of Arlondis and Emma Bennett VanHook. She married April 14, 1902 David E. Kern who died Feb 25, 1962. She was a member of Fifth Street Church of Christ. Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Jacoutot and several nieces and nephews. The body is being returned to Hegg Funeral Home where friends will be received after 4 p.m. Thursday. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Fifth Street Church with Rev. James Daniel officiating. Burial in Lower Mound Cemetery.
